Outside Power Drills

Attack the offensive blocker at the half man point, drive the butt of inside hand to the sternum, outside hand grabs jersey behind the offensive man's outside shoulder. Maintain the same drive and leverage as in the power or bull rush move. The following drills should reflect the terminology mentioned with the bull rush, the following are counter moves to the bull rush. When conducting your pass rush drills the most important thing to remember, is for the rusher to get his shoulders out of parallel with the blockers as quickly as possible, this forces the blocker to get his hips turned. When the blocker sets, now adjust with the following:

Club and Turn

Jab Step and Throw

Inside Crossover
